Encephalopathy in patients with COVID-19: 'Causality or coincidence?'

The main tropism of the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is respiratory. Increasing evidences show that SARS-CoV-2 is not always confined to the respiratory tract but can also invade the central nervous system (CNS) and induce neurological diseases.
